What 30 pieces per color means
The standard minimum applies to each color ordered. If one style is ordered in one color, the starting quantity is 30 pieces for that color. If the same style is ordered in two colors, each color normally begins at 30 pieces.
The 30 pieces can be distributed across four sizes. The exact size ratio should reflect your customer demand and be confirmed in the purchase specification before production.

Build a size ratio from market demand
Avoid dividing every order equally by default. Use previous sales, pre-orders or customer profiles to decide which sizes need more depth. A boutique with concentrated demand in the middle of its size range may choose a different ratio from a broad wholesale program.
Send your preferred size chart together with the quantity breakdown. Measurement standards and grading expectations should be aligned during sampling rather than introduced after the order is placed.
Plan colors without fragmenting the order
Each additional color creates another minimum quantity and another size breakdown. Select colorways that have a clear role in the range, then check how the complete commitment fits your budget and selling plan.
Fabric suppliers may also have material minimums. Special colors, custom-dyed materials or complex decoration can therefore require separate review even when the garment minimum is understood.

Provide the style number or reference, selected color, four-size breakdown, total quantity and customization requirements. Pricing cannot be separated from fabric, construction and order structure.
For a multi-style collection, present the complete planned assortment. This allows the development team to identify repeated materials, special minimums and questions that could affect sampling or production planning.
